Love Me Some Stripes
Stripes are always a refreshing print to wear; I’m more of a solid color (black or white) kinda girl, but adding some stripes into your wardrobe is a must. There’s really an endless amount of ways you can style a striped top…or keeping it classic with your favorite basic pieces, like I did. I just feel like its just one of those pieces thats so versatile and effortless, you need to have in your wardrobe. Plus, it’s a reasonless, you can wear year round. Soooo… aka it’s a must have staple. I got this one from Zara!
I know I told you guys this before, but for me dressing comfortably is the most important thing. You’ll always find me wearing flat sandals, converse, nikes, or boots. When I feel like elevating my casual look, I’ll throw on some little booties. (You’ll rarely catch me in a pair of stilettos or pumps) It’s not because I don’t love them; it’s just I’m not all that coordinated, nor do I have the patience to walk slow, and I’m always just looking for comfort.
I could live in this outfit just about everyday- it’s super comfy, it’s chic and most importantly, you still look put together. The Jeans I am wearing are my new faves from Zara. I have tons of black jeans, most of which have rips all over them. They’re a mid rise, skinny fit, which I love!! They transition from season to season, trend to trend. You can easily tucked in a shirt and waaahla, now you look sophisticated lol. But for this outfit, they were perfect because of the slit on the sides of the shirt! One thing I find extremely unattractive on just about every body is your love-handle area. No one wants to see just that area, so in this case, these jeans hit the perfect spot. These jeans can also, literally, be worn with EVERYTHING!
Booties from Aldo! I just got them last week, they’re SUPER comfortable!! Checked them out and they’re on sale for $70 now, originally $140. Which is what I paid. GRR. lol but oh well whatever, a good, comfortable pair of booties is essential.
